new year. fresh start.

thats what everyone seems to be saying,
but i thought; its just another day.
every day is a fresh, new start.
why is everyone making a big deal about january 1st?

and those resolutions.
i thought, so dumb.
cant you make resolutions at any time of the year?
but then again, i thought,
why am i being so pessimistic & go-against-the-flow?
...maybe THAT should be one of my new years resolutions:
be more positive. [along with tonnnnnns of others]
